Low frequency type III at DARO

Karl-Heinz Gansel DL6EBS of DARO observed a nice type III solar radio burst with his home built T2FD antenna connected to an up-converter + Callisto.

Callisto at National Space Center in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Callisto project in Malaysia is hosted by Malaysian National Space Agency (ANGKASA) and there are three (3) universities that collaborate in this project: (1) University of Malaya, (2) University Kebangsaan Malaysia and (3) Universiti Teknologi MARA. Installation and configuration took place at ANGKASA in February 2012. Temperature was+37°C.

Callisto University of Nairobi, Kenya

Installation of a Callisto system at the University of Nairobi in November 2011. The antenna was built in their own workshop after a design of University of Mauritius. The antenna was erected in January 2012 and data are archived at FHNW in Switzerland

M4.0 observation of Callisto in Mexico

May be first light of Callisto spectrometer at UNAM in Mexico City. It shows the radio burst connected with an M4.0 flare of December 25th 2011.
Due to high level of local interference the data array was filtered in IDL with Lee-Filter.

Callisto at SCO, Hurbanovo Slovakia

A new Callisto system has been successfully set into operation during the weekend from December 16th until December 19th. The location it at SCO in Hurbanovo, Slovakia. Antenna is a CLP-5130 from Create and the pre-amplifier is MiniCircuits ZX60-33LN-S+
